COVID Daily Vaccination Rates Have Dropped Sharply Since J&J Vaccine Pause

NEWS:

Millions more Americans began getting COVID-19 vaccinations at the end of February 2021, when many states opened the opportunity to more people. However, since the pause of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in mid-April 2021, far fewer people have gotten vaccinations.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine was initially paused over rare blood clots that affected six individuals. The FDA has since removed the pause on this vaccine after a safety review.

OPINION:

Many suspect that Americans have stopped getting vaccines because the government has not thoroughly incentivized the public opportunities associated with vaccine adherence. Others have theorized, and generally rightly so, that large numbers of Americans just didn’t want the vaccine in the first place.
